Education & Training
I run gentle exercise classes and seat based exercise classes in North Canterbury.
I am a fully registered exercise provider(REPNZ) with many years of experience and a diploma in Sport Studies from the University of Otago.
Regional coordinator for NZ Athletics 'Get set ready Go' program.
I have provided stroke rehabilitation and work with the support club for their rehab exercise classes and follow-on exercise classes for their members.
I work under contract to the Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Society working in their gym and providing exercise classes.
I am involved with the DHB Respiratory team providing Exercise Rehabilitation classes.
I have worked for many years in the area of fall prevention and Arthritis rehabilitation. I have also worked in conjunction with several Physiotherapists’ as part of their after care programmes and Delta day care centre for the elderly; two years providing the exercise component of that programme.
I am continuing to increase my knowledge in all relevant areas including nutrition, health and specialist training.
